FlashGot works
Man I've tried so many "download flash" programs and none of them have been perfect, like only working on certain sites, but this Firefox add-on I use now "FlashGot" works extremely well for sites besides Youtube that also use flash players, like Nostalgia Critic's whose movies I enjoy very much. There's been a lot of better ones for Youtube already like Youtube Enhancer and more which let you download them as MP4s in high-quality.
Reply to this TopicI use JDownloader. it picks up Youtube links and lets you download them in various formats.
On IE8, I use either the ImTOO YouTube Video Converter or I use the Real Player download function for HQ videos.
