Anyone else remember early-2000s Toonami?
About 8-9 years ago Toonami started to play on the weekday afternoons after school with like 3 hours of kick-ass anime and bad-ass American shows like Batman Beyond. They showed Rurouni Kenshin, Sailor Moon, Yuyu Hakusho, Outlaw Star, Tenchi, Ronin Warriors, and of course Dragon Ball Z... sometimes most of these shows IN ONE DAY!!! I also remember they had a special called DBZ:20XL, which was 20 episodes of DBZ in ONE week lol. Good memories...unfortunately, Toonami became geh with crap like Teen Titans later on SIGH

Yeah saturday night on Toonami they play Naruto but they cut out hela stuff and have a break every few mins. Watch the japensese version it is better. Ask my friend if she has an accout on here it would be narutofreak1589.
Also u there was mobile Suit Gundam Wing and endless waltz, those kicked ass

i remember those days... lol. who remembers the shows S.W.A.T. cats, and biker mice from mars? those were two of my personal favorites back in the 90's era of cartoons. its great to be a 90's kid, a lot of good stuff happened back then.
FUCK YEAH lol. I don't remember Biker Mice from Mars but I def remember Swat Cats. When it comes to 90's cartoons you can't go without mentioning the Batman, Spiderman and X-men animated series too! Those bad-ass cartoons were basically preparing us for anime lol batman was really good though, a lot of drama and good storytelling where you couldn't get it elsewhere as a kid.
hehe, I used to get up at 6 am to watch Swat Cats and Exo Squad on Fox.. no Cartoon Network in BC. Then I went back to sleep ;)

Toonami is where I always watched Yuyu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, and DBZ back then.. Whatever happened to the good old days? They should start doing those again..
wow this was actually the first and only toonami that i liked cause all the shows like thundercats, voltron, reboot, robotech,sailor moon, superfriends,the big o, zoids, hamtaro,samurai jack,cyborg 009, sd gundam, and a whole bunch of other ones i can't remember.
