Who is the best Joker (actor)?
Why... so... serious? Yes, more Batman threads, as superheroes are the equivalent of American manga lol. I like Heath Ledger's (newest movie) Joker best since thats the way the original Joker from the darker Batman comics and novels has always been. He's the most real and scariest yet, and therefore coolest lol. I like all the Jokers though, however I actually put Caesar Romero (TV show) and Mark Hamil (animated series) above Jack Nicholson (first movie), who I never thought was the best overall Joker though he had some awesome one-of-a-kind parts.
Reply to this Topiclol i loved the newest joker in the dark knight the best the actor just brought out the whole character of the joker and showing how crazy the joker was meant to be. "wanna see a magic trick? I'm gonna make this pencil dissapear."
Jack Nicholson played the more psychotic joker that was portrayed similar to the cartoon versions. However, Heath Ledger, I think played the most accurate role in respect to the comics, which was not just a psycho, but a smart psycho that actually gave Batman a run for his money.
ya i think its Jack Nicholson i liked him in that movie alot its to bad he died i would have liked to see him in the next batman (or the dark night what ever u wana call it) he was good as the joker
Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger were both great as Joker but if you want to know who was more like the Joker it is hands down Jack Nicholson. (growing up I was a big batman fan and I read the comics). Heath had the mannerisms down but his attitude was more serial killer than schizophrenic which is more of what joker was like which Jack Nicholson did quite well.
Oh yeah, sure, and good question. Live-action anime related movies and shows are fine as long as the source material was anime or manga. Try to get the whole movie if possible and not just pieces. Also Advent Children is OK, if we don't have it.
