Manga Readers + Anime Fans

Well what can i say i always made sure that i wouldn't read any manga. But i wanted to see meru puri but there wasn't an anime so i read the manga, now like i thought i liked it very much. I like both but when i've seen the anime i don't like it to read the manga but if i have read the manga then i'm just happy that i can see the anime. Maybe crazy but that's it :p

Well, welcome jihandaah. Ummmm... Personally, like anime because it has things that manga lack.. Like dialogue, color, sound, actual movement, etc. But don't get me wrong, the manga is good, too. I just usually prefer anime over manga. And yeah, sometimes it depends. Like for animes with a crapload of fillers (i.e. Naruto), you could just read the manga to hop back into the main plot.

It all depends... I personally enjoy manga since it's the original work without any concerns for public viewing. It's the raw unfiltered work of the artist without any studio intervention. Many Anime adaptations of a manga don't live up to the hype the manga gives off such as Negima! The anime was just a short glimpse into the story in Negima but the manga is still going and one of the best. Another great example is Air Gear. The manga for Air Gear has a complexity that the anime doesn't.. But it all depends on your own preferences
