Dragon Ball Live-action Movie...
Google this movie's posters. One has the cast and they look nothing like the Dragon Ball characters. Goku is WAY too old too, would have been so much better if he was a kid (like GOKU!?) or something not a 90210 reject. HOWEVER: it looks like Piccolo's eyes are in the bg and they look damn cool and I like the girls' looks a lot, though, would it have killed them to give Bulma a WIG? Did these people even watch DBZ or Dragon Ball? But to be honest I can't wait to see this movie now, since its either going to suck really bad OR be really fun and different. I do sincerely wish for the best. I still have hope as Speed Racer had redeeming parts. Please post all thoughts and info on this movie here, even rumors lol!
Reply to this Topicbtw I just read Ulong and the other shape-shifters, animals, animal cops lol and such won't be in it. WTF, its 2008. At least put in TURTLE. You're telling me you can't put Master Roshi's Turtle in the movie like twenty years after Homeward Bound?!?! Damn the animals were one of the defining characteristics of the original Dragon Ball.
Wow my hope has dropped another notch: the guy playing beloved-character Piccolo has said that the girls in DB aren't drawn well. WTF WTF WTF WTF. He also gave a lot of obviously wrong info on the show; AFTER saying DBZ is the coolest show ever. That's insulting to me to say its cool then relay a lot of ignorance on the show. SIGH
I'm betting this movie is going to go down as the worst moive of all time, (A). Like usual they look for the worst actors they can find and wonder why it turns into a piece of crap (B). Horrible director who I doubt knows anything about dragonball and has never made a good movie, he even managed to make a Jet Li movie look horrible in The One.
it's July and I'm still having trouble believing this isn't an April Fools joke (I first read about it in march). I can't imagine it beeing very good. Just from seeing pictures of the cast I'm sure they're writing a romance between Goku and Bulma... :(
Yay! A DragonBall Z movie!......WTF.....I JUST GOOGLED AND PICCOLO LOOKS LIKE A DUMBASS! >> Goku looks strange to say the least.... Also, yes Goku looks a LITTLE TO OLD. Its obviously not Dragonball cause then it would be a kid, but ya. He looks like he should be in Dragonball GT or something. Hmmm, I dont know, hopefully this movie doesnt crash and burn though.
why don't they make this movie in japan or china where it originated from not in the US. everyone thinks its gonna be a terrible movie who knows maybe if you just gave it a chance.
