U could also mix them.It works realy nice.U paint the wholre nail black and then decorate it with some pink flowers or stripies or whatever u like.
both differnt colar for each finger
personally, I prefer black, but using both looks good too ^_^
i think i'd use both,black with little pink dots ^^
