Can anime openings predict the future???
Hey all my lovely members!!! :D So some people say that the opening of an anime will usually give you an itty bitty taste of the whole show. For example, some openings show characters, fights and even places before they are even introduced in the series such as Naruto, D. Grayman, and One Piece just to name a few of many. So do you think anime openings are friendly semi-spoilers???? Also do you think its a good thing or a bad thing??? Don't be scared to tell me cause I wanna know : P
Reply to this Topici dont really like spoilers in the op that tell too much. like in d.gray-man, it shows some spoilers, but they are just bits and peices of fights- so it doesnt spoil much.
i agree with brettwad when an opening shows too much spoilers( which some openings do) it ruins the show. I think anime openings are just a way to give people sneek peak of whats going to happen sometime in the series and get viewers excited about the show ^_^
I don't mind a bit of info from an anime OP or ED.
An opening that gives away parts of the show tends to ruin the show to some degree in my opinion. For myself, when I see shows that gives away too much in the opening I see it as a lack of either imagination or time. Both of which sends a chill down my spine. An opening should get the veiwer pyshed up for the show and that can best be done with an opening uniquely crafted.
I don't mind most openings even if they tend to have some little spoilers, they don't spoil more than like... show a character that hasn't been on the show before, and so on, so in my opinion I don't really call it spoilers
In a way, I think it does spoil shows. But it's not a bad thing . In most shows it only shows some clips. But like, when a romance series shows the boy and the girl kissing.. even though they aren't together in the show for awhile. It's SO gay . But, like, a lot of shows.. Are good openings. Because if you see two people fighting it makes you anxious to see the episode and stuff. I think it's cool . I get all jittery and happy and stuff. It's GREAT , : D
