- Description
- An extremely agitated thylacine. Notice that when rearing up on its hind legs, it often rests the entire heel on the ground in a "plantigrade" stance. This accounts for the long heel mark sometimes seen in its tracks. This doesn't usually occur in dogs, as they walk primarily on just their toes.
