spurn debuted in 2001 at the venerable Lower East Side performance space Collective: Unconscious. Since then, they have played at the Vital Theatre, McGinn-Cazale Theatre the 13th Street Repertory, and the People's Improv Theatre. They opened and closed the 2004 New York International Fringe Festival with sold-out shows at the SoHo Playhouse. They have also performed at various comedy clubs throughout NYC such as Ha! and the Gotham Comedy Club. In January 2006, they launched a video podcast project which has since garnered over 450,000 viewers and more than 4000 subscribers worldwide.
