Generally, i like to watch things which lay beyond the boundaries of what we see as the norm, and anything that produces a feeling of nolstagia, invigoration, or is mind expanding. Other than that, there's the usual mindless crap. :P
Battle Royale, Vanilla Sky, Amélie, Signs, Waking Life, Chungking Express, Curse of the Golden Flower, Disney, Studio Ghibli, Various Anime, and a whole lot more, of which i don't recall at this point in time.
Nightwish, Within Temptation, Legion, Faunts, LP, In Flames, Klaxons, Killers, Disney (haha), Various Anime Soundtracks (haha), Coldplay, 30 Seconds to Mars, Disturbed, and all other types/categories of music, with one exception... Rap - i dislike.
