By left lower box I am referring to what the timer in the left lower corner becomes once the 5-minute preview has ended. However, whenever I watch videos now, it just keeps playing longer than 5 mintues without my doing anything.

Anywho, it does not matter. Basically, just start replaying the 5 minute preview and drag the blue bar beyong the 5-minute mark and it should continue playing.
