well depends on what you think is good, but...kino's journey is a pretty good one, if you want a laid back/intersting anime. Utawarerumono is a good middle ground one. both laid back with some good action. as for pure action...well the only good one I've seen lately is Gurren Lagann and I'm pretty sure everyone has seen that by now...so yeah. there you go.
