Chris Rock narrates this witty CW sitcom based on his life as an awkward teenager (Tyler James Williams) growing up in Brooklyn in the 80s. His penny-pinching father (Terry Crews) works hard to support Chris, his mother (Tichina Arnold) and two siblings. Bussed to a mostly white school, the studious Chris winds up an outsider wherever he goes.
