Wow so totally being nice is good and everything, but there is a limitation to how nice you can be towards people. Kids especially will take every advantage of that and won't get off your nuts. (don't think of it as ecchi) Really hitting is the only way you have to do things. In asian countries I know especially in Korea they hit their students. You have no clue on how much they hit you. The discipline in korean schools are nuts. This country is so spoiled, with free school and everything else. We are considered lucky compared to some countries. Paying for preschool to highschool. Then when your kids drop out, oh God their parents will hit them. Another reason why some people say "koreans" are smart. Get why this comes to saying.

I agree with you peter but it 's not like we should beat up kids for nothing or for any little mistake they make.Cause they will do the same thing on their kids or maybe even their wifes!!Why waste energy and get your hand red when there are more relaxing,easy and maybe enjoyable ways to make them understand,have them like you and admire you?Don 't always think of beating seriously.It leads to nowhere.But If a kid or anyone goes off limits then I totally agree.Beat them up.But not for small things.

ya i totally didn't mean that either, but if i had a little brother or a son. I will beat him up when he can start talking. I will force him to study, and everything. If he gets something wrong i'll have a screw driver. IF i get a daughter i'll just give her punishment like doing the invisible chair on the wall and carry books while doing so for like 20 minutes. My aunt and uncle was so mean too, they used to beat on me so damn much. Their children are surgeons in sydney australia. So pretty much they were mad crazy.
