manga s always better than anime. the first reason is that he manga always has the original story(duh). the are almot no fillers in manga so that is point 2. anime has a tendency of changing the ending of stories. examples are elfen lied, kenichi, and soul eater. this is like someone saying ''ok the mona lisa is almost finished so lets add a h on her hed without teing the painter''. you cant mess with a artists work, minus 1 for anime. one big advantage is that you can read manga anywhere without bothering others making it point 3. manga leaves more to the imagiation like how the voices would sound, 1 point more for manga. the reason why anime is more popular is that it's animated, score 1 for anime. also the artwork is usually better, 1 point for that. the biggest downside of manga is that it costs more, minus for that it counting this makes it 1-3 for manga. so why is anime me popular? th answer is simple: it's easier than reading.

it realy depends on your prefrence and the show\book(whatever) like for bleach way to many fillers so i said screw it i can deal with a action in manga form but when it comes down to dramas\romance\horror or a mech i havta watch the anime to get the same emotion and flow or i jstu don't feel it and again it depends on prefrence and this was mine :D
