Hope you had a Great Christmas. We had a lot of fun here. I'm currently watching Yi San, a long drama, but it's a new story in every episode, so not hard to watch. I was almost finished EIA before it was pulled from Mackie's account. I'll have to look around for it. The DVDs I buy are all English subbed, some better than others. Korean dramas are easy to find. Japanese and Taiwanese a little harder. What I can't find it the store I can get online for a little more money like on sites like ebay. Most expensive are YesAsia and AsianDB sites. YesAsia has the highest quality videos with the best subs. I don't have to watch a series first. If I have heard good things about it, I'll pick it up. I haven't seen Queen of the Game yet. Yi San is going to keep me tied up for awhile. It's been fun, there is group of us that really like "Dimples", so we have set our backgrounds with his image, showing our support and sisterhood. All the best inthe New Year!

By the way, you asked about Thank You. There are parts of it that are very sad, but they belond to the story. It is a wonderful story of self discovery and tolerance.

I can get DVD's for as little as $6.00 for a whole series, if they are on one disc, or $3,00 per disc in a boxed set (around $25.00-$30.00). I usually buy them after I watch them on the sites, just to support the people that are making them. I just loved Romantic Princess. I've watched the whole series raw, the subs are slow in coming, they are most up to date on youtube, and on this site bernadetterose follows close behind. I have the DVDs for save the last dance, I just haven't had a chance to watch them yet. I live in Western Canada, east of Calgary. It can get very cold here, but we have the advantage of Chinooks, which are winds that blow through and warms things up. So it never stays cold for too long.

I really enjoyed Thank You, I went out and bought the DVDs for that one too. (Don't worry the DVDs are inexpensive at the local Asian market). I haven't seen Save the Last Dance yet. I am currently watching EIA, and Romantic Princess. The first one is a comical mystery, on mackie's account, and the second one is a Taiwanes Drama with Wu Chun, that is just a beautiful story. Hope all is well with you. We are just trying to keep warm here. It's been about -20C for the past week.
