Continued from before As an example, probably even the most hardcore Christians won't believe that slavery is morally correct, and the average Christian almost certainly won't. The Bible on the other hand is very clear that it is perfectly okay. Since the Christian is able to go against his alleged moral compass (the Bible) he therefore proves that he has his own morality outside of his religion. Therefore it can be shown that humans have their own values regardless of what dogma (if any) they choose to follow. Therefore, the argument that religion/god is necessary for morality (and that without them that you have no way of assigning values (such as right and wrong)) is totally invalid and easily refuted. Thanks again for the vid!

Great videos about atheism! Very insightful and at humorous. Just something I'd like to add about the whole religion/belief in god/morals argument (and about how without god/religion we have no method to assign value to anything). One thing that I use a lot when this comes up is moral relativity. Basically my argument (although I'm sure that others have thought of this before me) is that everyone has a sense of their own morals outside of their religion (if they have any) and that we can see this all around us every day.
