When will you be posting parts 4 and 5 of "A Rough History of Disbelief"? Parts 1, 2 and 3 are excellent. I plan to comment following the program's last episode.

I wish the later parts of the series had captions like the first two. Cwisehart: What profound truths have you come to know? Somehow I doubt that they are profound or truths.

The profound truths I have come to know are as result of my belief. Without it I would not have gained the spiritual vision that make seeing them possible. God gave all the freedom to choose to believe and see the Truth that set me free. I am sorry for the choice that disbelievers have made. They should reconsider.

In other words, you are saying that truth stems from belief. And you mention "truths I have come to know", so truth is an absolute? And thus belief is an absolute? Yet "God" gave you freedom of choice in belief? Absolutism gives no option for choice. If belief is absolute, how can you be free? We atheists don't "choose", we are skeptical, use reason and logic, and inquire. What & why should we "reconsider"? If the truth that I know exists without belief, why reconsider?
