I was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at the age of 11 months, a result of a lack of oxygen when I was born. I don't let my disability define who I am nor let it confine me. I had a normal childhood. I attended regular classes, I played with my friends, I went to school dances, and I went to summer camps and everything else young girls do. I was nearly in the ten percent of my high school graduation class, but I was an honor student. After high school I attended the local junior college and got my Associate degree then I transferred to Texas A&M University. I graduated on May 12, 2006. Now I am writing on my first short story and make speeches on what it is like being a handicapped person going to school. For money I'm working for the school district on various projects. My role models growing up were both of my grandmothers (Nannies), my mom, L.M. Montgomery, Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, and William Shakespeare.

Writing, reading, watching tv and movies, horseback riding, makinng videos and being with friends.

I love country music and Josh Groban. I also like some alternative music, standard and Oldies songs, but mostly country.
