Shishio's Custom Profile Group

I want to create a site with the shopping cart function, not that I want to use it, I just want to learn how to make it so I can show people I can do it. But I was told I need to make a database and would need Mysql. I don't know what a database is or how it works, nor how it is related to the directory. As far as I know, a website is HTML and CSS documents plus image folder in the directory folder, and when I open the HTML in Firefox, my site opens. Can you tell how I can add a database to my directory?

I was just wondering if sumbody could give me a code I could use for a group. It doesn't have to b super comlex or anything. Basicaly, I just want it to remove the header, the footer and the ads. And make the headers transparent on the videos/members/discussions sections.

In my updated full layout code, I added the footer's message inbox link to the Veoh bar, something like as it was on the old Veoh, except it doesn't have the counter and is on the blue part. This set only works with that full layout code, for any other page the top property must be adjusted; but in addition you must have a footer that doesn't change page position- for example, as on a very long page, a page that doesn't change height, or one with a footer that is set to position: absolute or fixed.

I've updated my Premade Full Layout code big time, the biggest thing is I added the inbox option to the Veoh bar similar to the old Veoh, fixed some compatibility issues with Internet Explorer 7/8 and the new follower list, and fixed the bottom background as well as the cursor; so it is a very good idea for those of you who use it to update it now if you use it for the future. **** http://tinyurl.com/yg3ysor

i got a code from Shishio a week or 2 ago that helped me remove the header from my page. i was wondering if there was a code that could help me remove a majority of the navbar from my page. like everything except for the stuff in the very top right. starting with the feedback section over to the add videos part.

a.uThumb { display:none; } a.thumbTitle { display:none; } * I am using these codes to hide the styled member's list names and thumbnails. However it also affects the videos. Can I modify these selectors to only affects the member's list?
