one of my friends already hated their life parents are dead and accidently killed his bro. and now his gf died what can i do to make him feel better? can u please help?

its not his bro that he is sad about its his girlfriend(gf) she died in a plane crash and he already hates his life i am worried if he might commit sucide out of frustration and depression

I really hope he feels better but just take precaution so that he is watched at all times and not left alone even for a second, that could really lead him to strange suicidal thinking. But just remain by his side. other than that, I don't know how else I can help.
