Bush dropped our economy to shit, If Obama does his job right, then he has my props. I really don't look into what skin tone he has, I respect everyone equally as they deserve to be treated. At this point I believe anyone can do better then bush. Obama looks like a very determined fellow, so I have confidence in him to guide us into the future, so we can say "yes we did".

I think its a step forward for tha future nd towards MLK dreams of equality. Not jus for african americans but for all minorities. He's givin us alot of hope nd i cant wait to see wuts next......plus im jus plain proud my prez is black =]

Well having a black president is leaps and bounds for this country. Aside from that I was impressed by his closing speech on the day we own. He seems capable of great things but he just became president. So we'll just have to wait and see.

You know I am annoyed cos when you watched the news all theses black people are like saying things, black president does it matter? Its just a color other than that, We got something we call black history month. So we celebrate a whole damn month to what happened to them. What else? Ummm ya black people were not the only nationality that was treated like dogs. Koreans, China, and so many more did too. I mean you see like p diddy complaining that there was no black models at some place? You kidding... I mean like what will happen when I decide to complain about koreans not being a president. You know when world war was out what happened?

We had a camp with all japs? WHY? cos the nationality? Do you think we got a whole month thinking about keeping japs hostage just cos the nationality? They also did say alot japs got the radiation when the bomb hit. Koreans and china was treated like dogs by the jap. You do know what japanese written history say? They keep making lies about their country against china / korea. We also got a long history written longer than 10,000 years. We were treated like dogs by the jap raped, and kllled. There was a mixed martial arts match against a 1/2 korean 1/2 jap against a japanese guy. The japanese guy won, and what did he say? The japanese are strong. Wow you kidding and the audience all shouted with joy. This was in japan, and also its recent. So we all get racist acts all the time. Dude a manga in japan was out too.

Saying that koreans were short, and we had chinkier eyes. We all know japanese people take surgery on it too. You know im 6'2 I did not see a japanese guy thats taller than me. I am not hating, i am just saying the racist talks about the pasts are annoying. Also Obama doesn't decide the economy. Is all about us and what we do. So do something, and not complain in the net.

itzonlypeter, I think why we have black history month and why it's so amazing that a man of afrian american descent has been elected president is because they have been fighting for equality in the U.S for such a long time. I know that they are not the only race that has been treated like crap before, but they are one of them and I think this is proving that we are taking a giant step toward everyone being equal. Because god knows we aren't all equal right now, no matter how much you think we all are, there are still racists out there.

Ya the thing is, people are always going to be racists. I am gong to be honest I will be too. My best homie in college was black, but no matter at what age there will always be racists people. I still get racists comments online, cos they don't got the balls to say out the computer. To be honest there will be no equality in this world. A rubys resaurant in PA only allows white girls who are hot to work. My homegirl couldn't get a job there cos shes korean. You see at school in Los Angeles the people kick it with their own nationality. Why I say this? Cos we used to kick it with all in middle school and younger days. Like 70% people in my school were black, and now they coulda been koo with the people in high school. No, that didn't happen. They acted like they are the shit now cos they got #s, and can't do shit alone. All they did was jump people. I mean like seriously I will show respect when they show me some 1st. Equality? Show me equality I'll show it back. Get it?

I do thank the past about what happened about now not being the white man's bitch, but I ain't mad cos that reason. The thing is people act like the white people in the past. They will treat a white boi now like shit. Thats why they are just in the same. People don't realize how lucky they are. I would like to think equality. but is just a dream. Kinda like Martin L King, but reaches the impossible. You can't control the people in the u.s and all across the world. This is reality, so all we got to do is deal with it. The thing is black people are too proud. All the black stars are like omg black people black people. Also Opra said this "Momma look all the white people are under me now." It was said in the radio. So whats with this "Equality"
