i like pokemon but i dont know why people think its lame,and i would say pokemon :)

i think it is the longest series. i mean they just keep on cuming up with more and more! i kinda like da series but i don't have time 2 watch it cause i'm on da computer!! ^.^

I like it and i dont know the reason why (people think its lame...) BUT! My friends and my Bro think its childish Idk? anyway Its been on ever since like the 90`s so i guess since theres alot of people born during the time of its creation I think alot of Kids would watch it I mean i didnt have reason to but i would always watch it when ever it came on??? soooo Idk...anyone else?

Believe it or not when Cartoonnetwork had taht whole day Pokemon thing going on I decided to watch it since I hadnt in a while. Yes, I do believe its probably the longest anime. Also, KitKatll7 I used to watch it whenever it came on to also. :P Also, Id say Id rather watch other animes than Pokemon, so I dont watch it when its on now. As for it being lame... well, they really shouldn't, but don't ask me! I never said it! xD lol jk

If you count cartoons, a version of Scooby Doo has been aired frequently since the early '70s. The Dragonball franchise has been around a really long time as well since 1984.

Sorry about above post made mistake in date Dragonball anime was made so I decided to clarify and add more info. As for number of episodes: Total episodes of all Scooby-doo shows = 275 This does not include movie/specials and live action movies. Various incarnations of the Scooby-doo franchise have been on the air since 1969 and a version of the show has almost continuously in production since then. Total episodes of Dragonball franchise = 508 This also does not include movie/specials. Versions of the show in production from 1986-1997 I'm not sure if they're still being shown in the U.S. or elsewhere.

Pokemon isn't the longest but it's pretty long O_o! These are really long ones that I've seen Sazae-san -- it has over 2000 episodes and it's still airing! Doraemon -- 1787 episodes. Crayon Shin-chan -- 617 episodes and still airing. Sazae-san has been on air for 30 years... o_0 Yup so lol =D Hope I helped out!

*Shin Kidousenki Gundam* might be the longest,as it has been running strong since 1977.Also,*Trans-Formers* has been going strong since 1983.Mecha animes seem to actually be the longest animes.
