CSS GROUP

Yep, the #veohPage panel has been limited to a non changeable dimension of 1000px width. and I'm a little perplexed with the body background code. it looks like the width dimension has been increased to 11100px width, but most ful screen pictures are maximum 1024 px wide. weird things happen if you leave the body as "scroll" instead of "fixed" I'm waiting to see if anymore changes happen over the next 24 hrs.

so whwn the "i" was pointed on with the curser, the thumbnails in all my profiles & groups were pulsing. I removed the "top: 500px" and it cleared the problem basically. It seems putting "top: ...px;" would make the thumbnail "i" pulse/blink. Once removed, the "i" on thumbnails were able to be read.

Hey those white bars that are above and below your collections of groups made and groups joined when you click on "View All" can be made nicer by Copy&Pasting this &adding it to the bottom of all your old CSS code~ .sp_pageSubBar {background-image: url(); filter:alpha(opacity=70); opacity:0.7; color: #FF7F00; background-color: HoneyDew; } The color and opacity values can be changed to fit your tastes.

I noticed the last big change to veoh(February) caused our real names to be displayed even if we unticked the privacy option "Allow others to see my: First name; Last name" You may not be able to get that undisplayed, but you can Click"Settings" then click "Profile" then delete your name and put in your Username instead or about five~~~~~~ and then click "Save Changes" And your real name need not be displayed any longer.

The best advice to hear would be to create a new group and if you liked the old name, put "New" in front of the new group and reuse the old group name. Right click on the avatar if you really liked it and 'Save as" and up load it to your computer "My Pictures" folder. Then select your old avatar on the new group when you click on the "Browse" option when creating your replacement group.

CSS(Cascading Style Sheet) coding is like putting Legos together to build something... IT is chunks of code plopped together bit by bit to make a page look a certain way. If you click on a video or movie in a group collection and the group has a cool background. You can have that background behind the video player if you backspace(click the back arrow for the page) and reload the page (click the forward arrow to reload the page). That should put the cool background behind the movie or video while watching it.

If you have your footer translucent it might be kind of nice to make the footer longer by simply putting this inside the footer code last bracket height: 1000px; And put a space and the last bracket after it. And your footer will be longer.

If you wish you could afford to buy Photoshop, but don't have the bucks, go to http://www.gimp.org/ and get Gimp for free (It is comparable to the Photoshop program!) It was created by two university students in like 1995 as a course project. Very cool fellows! They could have made millions outright, but they decided to offer it to the world for free!
