Anime Lover27

A bunch of my friends act like they don't like it but when we have a sleep over or something we watch Bleach, Inuyasha, and they don't realize it''s an anime. Nope, it doesn't make you a nerd or freak, because we have alot of clubs in school and one of the most filled is the anime. I personally can't live without anime hehe ^-^ Hope that helped!

i dont think anime is weird but i love it too but its like ppl who like star trac and other sifi things its just a personally liking (or ppl who love realitly shows) anime just isnt well known (and i guess accepted) and i agree i dont see a lot of ppl who like anime at school and those of us who show that we do are made fun of its so stupid that i am named a geek just because im truthful and not afraid of wat others think lol srry too serious

I love anime! but i only started really geting into it about 2 years ago. And now looking back I wonder what i did before it...for some people I guess its just because that label thing (nerd or geek or watever) that if they like anime they won't be public about it. I know when im at school i don't advertise I like anime. But when im on the computer thats pretty much all i watch. But its definitely personal preference, whether u want people to know or not. and yea i agree that people put on an 'act' about anime because it not widely known =P haha wow that was long, anyway good luck^.^

i love it ! i love it ! i love it ! i used to watch certain animes when i was a kid and when i watch them now, i just think about all the good times. it's kind of an escape for me. ( that might sound a bit lame XD ) but it really is. I forget about what's going on around me and I guess it just relaxes me. Most people think it's weird because they don't watch it! NERDS; GEEKS; ASIANS and whatever else the world classified us in ARE NOT the only people who watch anime either. I'm an example/ proof :)

I personally love anime, however, I said I didn't like it cause not all of my friends did, and I wanted to fit in with everyone. so, I would switch! when I talked to my friends who liked anime, I could talk to them and understand what they were talking about, I could switch back and forth depending on the friend.

I think that anime isn't freaky, and or geeky in any way in fact we should go up to those that think it is and we are for liking it and ask them why they havn't joined us

Well more people are coming around to anime these days. Most Americans don't like it at first cause its different. Cartoons were always for kids, but the Japanese know that animation was originally for adults, (just look up old Betty Boop and such if you need proof). Its just once disney started making them for kids, people began to only like watching those types of animation and that how cartoons were invented. Anime is awesome cause you can do things with it that would be impossible or expensive. People are looking for new forms of entertainment, so you will probably see more anime lovers as time passes.
