女大學生李詩情（趙今麥 飾）在搭乘巴士時，發現自己被困在了車上，這輛車總會在特定的時間段發生爆炸。李詩情在一次次死亡中不斷倒帶重來，為了能夠逃出不斷循環的死亡困局，她無意間拉上了車上的另一位乘客肖鶴雲（白敬亭 飾），結果兩人一起陷入了輪迴。身為遊戲架構師的肖鶴雲驚覺這詭異的輪迴是一場陰謀的策劃，必須找出幕後黑手，才能結束車上的死亡循環。 肖鶴雲和李詩情，不過是兩個缺少了主角光環、在一次次經歷生死挑戰後滿滿實現的自我成長的普通人。在不停經歷時間循環、尋求真相的同時，他們也從巴士車上乘客們的身份和經歷，反映出當代社會現象，討論關於人性和現實的兩極話題，重新體會到了生命的意義。
